The Nanny Collective works a little differently than traditional care sites. Instead of searching through strangers, you build your network of moms and nannies you know and trust — creating a community where every connection can lead to the right one.
Create your profile
Tell us a little about yourself, your family, and what you're looking for. Nannies can share their experience, availability, and the kind of family they're hoping to find. You choose who sees it: keep your profile private so only your network can view your details, or make it public — either way your information stays secure.
Build your circle
Connect with moms and nannies you already know. Invite friends, past employers, caregivers, neighbors, and other people you trust. The bigger your circle becomes, the more trusted connections everyone can discover.
Find someone through someone
See nannies and families through mutual connections. Instead of wondering “Can I trust this person?” you can see who you have in common and reach out to someone who's actually worked with them.

Our story
It started with two people looking for the same thing from opposite sides.
When Ashley was preparing to return to work after having her son, finding someone she trusted to care for him felt overwhelming. At the same time, Makenna had recently moved to Raleigh and was searching for the right family after struggling to make meaningful connections through traditional care-matching sites.
Then they found each other.
Ashley hired Makenna, and she quickly became more than a nanny—she became part of the family. Soon, Makenna was caring for friends of Ashley’s, building a trusted network of families and nannies through genuine, word-of-mouth referrals.
That experience inspired The Nanny Collective: a Raleigh-based community built to make finding the right family—or the right nanny—feel a little less stressful, a lot more personal, and rooted in people you trust.
